During the first four weeks of school, each school conducts a drill each week including a shelter-in-place that includes preparations to respond to an active shooter (lockdown), evacuation drill, and fire drill.

We have amazing students at AHS who have adjusted wonderfully to the new morning procedures with the Weapons Detection System. 🎉At this week's Regular Board Meeting, Deputy Superintendent Steven Starkovich presented the six new Virtual Welding kits the Career & Technical Education program recently received. These kits will be used in beginning welding courses, allowing students to practice and learn basic welding skills. 🧰 Kits will also be introduced to middle school students to excite them about the Welding program. 😎
